A former Marceline resident, Mrs. Jennie Williams, 73, died this morning in a Lodi, Calif. hospital following a long illness. She had lived for several years in nearby Galt, Calif.
She is survived by her husband, Bud Williams, of the home; two daughters, Juanita Boyer, Klamath Falls, Ore., Mrs. Shirley Dittman, Mt. Shasta City, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. John Phillips, Marceline, and a brother, Ben Compton, Ingot, Calif.
Mrs. Williams is the former Jennie Compton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Compton, and was born and reared in the Peden Chapel community, southeast of Marceline.
Burial will be in Calif.
