SPEARVILLE - Albert A. Burghart, 83, died Aug. 13. 1983, at a Spearville Hospital. Born Sept. 26, 1899, at Topeka.

He married Barbara Hafner in 1922 (sic, 5/16/1921). She died in 1956. He married Edna Klenke in 1957, at Spearville.

He was a retired farmer and had been a Spearville resident since 1911. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Spearville.

Survivors: widow, of the home; sons, Harold, Spearville: Bob, Fall City, Neb.; Francis, Houston; Vernon, Ellensburg, Wash.; Richard J., Wright: daughters, JoVita Christiansen, Wrightwood. Calif.; Mildred Ruder, Bakersfield, Calif.; brother, Edward, Offerle; sisters, Regina Alexander, Denver; Mary Burghart. Larned; 26 grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the church. Funeral mass at 2 p.m. Monday at the church; Fathers Bert Nett and Elmer Klenke. Burial at the church cemetery. Friends may call from noon until 3 p.m. Sunday at Burkhart Funeral Chapel, Dodge City, and from 4 p.m. Sunday until service time Monday at the church.
