Irl G. Cleer, 80, of 1510 N Fifth died at 6:15 p.m. Sunday in Proctor Hospital, Peoria.
Born Nov. 13, 1901, in Havana, a son of Charles O. and Etta J Burquist Cleer. He married Mary D. Cook Dec. 17, 1922, in Peoria.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Karl (Elizabeth) Franz, Sr, Coleman, Mich., Mrs. Ray (Ruth) Moulton of Washburn, and Mrs. Robert (Donna) Gillham of Chillicothe, two sons, Kenneth of East Peoria and Fredrick of Shawnee Mission, Kan. 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and five step great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Jack (Isla) Flowers of Peoria, Mrs. William (Lois) Anderson of Alameda, Calif, Mrs. Vernon (Ellen) Forsyth of Culver City, Calif., and four brothers, Loren of San Diego, Calif, Lester of East San Diego, Calif., Oliver of Oakland Calif., and Paul of Chulavista, Calif., Three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Weber Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight.
The Rev. Tim Freeze will officiate and burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria.
Memorials may be made to Ambulance rescue 33.
