Rose Huddleston
Rose (Wamsley) Huddleston, 87, of Point Pleasant, died Friday morning, June 8, 1990, in Pleasant Valley Hospital following a long illness.
Born Jan. 31, 1903, in Point Pleasant, she was a daughter of the late B.F. and Nancy Jane (Gould) Wamsley.
She was a retired cook for Ohio River Company for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney E. Huddleston on Dec. 22, 1979; four sons, William V., Basil E., Sidney, Jr., and Charles Mike; five sisters and three brothers.
Surviving are a daughter, Rosetta Goodman, Point Pleasant; 29 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
The service will be held Monday, 1:30 p.m., at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Elmer C. Farmer officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 7 to 9 p.m.
