EAST BARRE - Susan J. Blodgett, 66, died Nov. 26, 2011, at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

Born in Middletown Springs, Oct. 15, 1945, she was the daughter of Samuel and Helen (Morgan) Cavanaugh and she attended Rutland schools.

She married Norman Blodgett on Nov. 12, 1975, in Barre.

Mrs. Blodgett was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Barre, the Salvation Army and the Moose Club.

She enjoyed collecting salt & pepper shakers, cooking, plants, and she was an avid bingo player.

Survivors include her husband of East Barre; two sons, John Fisk Jr. of Williamstown and Samuel Fisk of Warrensburg, N.Y.; three daughters, Esther Byam of Worcester, Helen Farnsworth of East Barre and Linda Scoville of Barre Town; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Joy Barrows of Rutland; many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at United Pentecostal Church held in the Orange Town Hall with Daniel McAllister, pastor, officiating.

There are no calling hours.

Burial will take place at a later date in East Clarendon Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home in Barre.
