LYONS - Mrs. Alma R. Hatcher, 79, died Monday afternoon in the Lyons District Hospital, following a long illness.
Born Sept. 12, 1887, in Missouri, she married Charles R Hatcher, Feb. 4, 1908 in Missouri. He died Oct. 29, 1949.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, Pythian Sisters, WSCS and the Sunflower Club.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs Juanita Brock, Holyrood, and Mrs Winifred Robertson, Hutchinson; one son, Orville, Lyons; sisters, Mrs. Leward Mclnteer, Wichita, and Mrs. Iva Koch, Brunswick, Mo.; brother, Ben Hayes, Oregon; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crawford Miller Mortuary with the Rev. Gilbert Peters officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
