Mr. Mocherman is survived by: his wife, Eva Lorena (Arion) Mocherman of Flora; 1 daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Beverly) Angle of Flora, Indiana; 1 brother, Mr. Wayne Mocherman of Jena, Louisiana; 1 sister, Mrs. Martha Cowell of Lafayette, Indiana; 2 grandchildren, Carla Tetreault and Cory Angle; 1 great-grandson, and 1 step-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.

The Rev. William W. "Woody" Mocherman, 84, of Flora, died at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 11, 2001, at Lafayette Home Hospital.
Born Feb. 25, 1917, in Cutler, he was the son of William "Bill" and Gladys Hunt Mocherman. He was married on Sept. 27, 1935, in St. Joseph, Mich., to Eva Lorena Anon, who survives.
He was a 1935 graduate of Rockfield High School and a 1962 graduate of Northern Baptist Seminary. Rev. Mocherman had served Baptist churches in Wheatfield, Graham, Young America, Orestes, Mt. Gilead and Shelbyville and was now retired. He was a member of the Flora First Baptist Church. A World War n veteran, he saved in the 42nd Rainbow 222 Division from 1942 to 1946. He fought at the Battle of the Bulge and helped liberate Dachau prison camp. He was a recipient of a Bronze Star.
Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Beverley Angle of Flora; two grandchildren; one great- grandson; and one step-great-grandson. Two brothers preceded him in death.
Services were held Sunday at the Flora First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray French and Pastor Jeff Peters officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery, Bringhurst. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation. Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, was in charge of arrangements.
