Richard B. "Dickie" Tullis, age 67 of Shreveport, Louisiana.- Services for Richard will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2011 with Rev. Roy Davis of North Shreve Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens in Blanchard, Louisiana. Visitation will be 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 1201 Louisiana Avenue, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Richard was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, April 21, 1944 and entered Heaven on November 21, 2011. A lifelong resident of Shreveport, he was a tree surgeon and retired from Tullis Tree Care in 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tom. survivors include his wife of 45 years, Ann Tullis; four brothers, Ed and wife, Bonnie Tullis of
Ringgold, Louisiana, Jerry and wife Barbara Tullis, James and wife, Sharon and Ronald and wife Jo Ann all of Shreveport, Louisiana; one sister-in-law, Martha Tullis. Also, left to cherish his momory are two children, Tina White and David Tullis, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Ann Tullis or David Tullis for help with the services.
