MRS. ELIZABETH WEDDLE widow of Samuel Weddle, died at her late home near Edgemont Monday morning at 6 o'clock from an attack of dropsy. About one year ago she sustained an attack of pneumonia from which she never fully recovered.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel, with whom she lived and Samuel who lives in the West.
These sisters are yet living: Mrs. Daniel Heartman, near town; Mrs. Henry Socks, Maugansville, Mrs. Washington Shover, Adams county and Mrs. Sarah Nicodemus, of Illinois.
Funeral services were conducted at Welty's Church yesterday morning at ten o'clock by Revs. C. R. Oellig and Jacob Snyder. Interment in Welty's burying ground.
