Ethel L. Bowers, 87, of Marshalltown died of a heart ailment on Saturday at Eldora Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services at Biersborn Funeral Home in Union, burial at Sheppard Cemetery near Gifford.
Mrs. Bowers was born in Gifford and had lived in Marshalltown since 1945. She was a retired general laborer at Cooper Manufacturing.
Several cousins survive. She was preceded in death by her husband Waud.
