Daniel is said to be buried at Bethania Moravian Graveyard, but isn't listed in the Cemetery transcription. Does anyone know if he is really buried there? Perhaps in an unmarked grave?

Daniel Hauser was the youngest of ten known children of Michael Hauser (1731-1789) and Anna Cunigunda Fiscus (1734-1804), who married 05 Nov 1752 at Frederick, Frederick County, Maryland.

Daniel married to Elizabeth (listed as Elisabeth on her grave marker) Boeckel (became Bockel in the 1800's) (1773-1854) on 01 Apr 1799 at Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Daniel and Elizabeth were the parents of seven known children, namely:

1. Maria Elisabeth Hauser Reich (1800-1872)
2. Jonathan Hauser (1801-c1860-70)
3. Christian Thomas Hauser (1803-1872)
4. Louisa Hauser (1806-1809)
5. Jacob Sanford Hauser (1809-c1865)
6. Anna V. Hauser (1812-1813)
7. Sarah Elizabeth Hauser Shamel (1814-1893)

The two children with unknown death dates (Jonathan and Jacob) both moved to Indiana where it is assumed they died.

Links to Daniel's parents, wife, five of his seven known children and four of his nine known siblings are included below.
