SOUTHERN INDIANA DEATHS
BEECHWOOD—Hazel M. Jenkins, 90, died Tuesday at Floyd County Hospital in New Albany.
She was the former Hazel Dukes, a native of Milltown and a member of Pilot Knob United Methodist Church.
Survivors: two daughters, Ruth L. Cassidy of Jeffersonville and Emma L. Morris; a son, James M. Jenkins; a sister, Lula Lougheed of Depauw; a brother, Theodore E. Dukes of Depauw; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo, with burial in Milltown (Ind.) Cemetery. Visitation after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Hazel married Chris Balmer on 1 May 1971 in Milltown. They were evidently not married long, as he married Mrs. Mary Eva (Wernert) Lofton in May 1974 and Hazel resumed using the Jenkins surname.
