Mrs. Essie May Corson, 97, of 318 E. Grant St., Santa Ana, Calif., formerly of Pleasant Plains, died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in California. She was born in Pleasant Plains, the daughter of Warner and Elizabeth Sinclair Correll. Mrs. Corson was a member of the Peter Cartwright United Methodist Church at Pleasant Plains. Surviving are one son, Reuben of Pleasant Plains; two sisters, Mrs. Myra Morris and Miss Sally Correll, both of Santa Ana, Calif.; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hensley-Davis Funeral Home at Pleasant Plains. Rev. Charles DeLay will officiate and burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
