Catherine M. Stewart, age 50, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2000. Catherine is survived by her parents, Gilbert and Beatrice Gallegos of Albuquerque, daughter, Rana Elaine Stewart of Albuquerque, sisters, Julie Ann Tixier of Westminster, CO, Juanita Gail Hedges and her husband, Meville W. of Willmington, DE, Lucy Gallegos Arnett and her husband, Robert and Lisa Salas and her husband, Donald, all of Albuquerque, brothers, Gilbert Owen Gallegos and his wife, Judy and Anthony L. Gallegos, all of Albuquerque, grandmother, Maria Inez Garcia of Springer, NM and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Ms. Stewart was a member of the American Business Women's Assocation. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Rosary. Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Deacon Byron Wicker, reciting. Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, with Father Domingo Gumpal, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert A. Gallegos, Greg O. Gallegos, Zachary Arnett, Andrew Salas, Mark Tixier and Matthew Tixier.
