J. R. NORTH'S MOTHER DIES AT OAK PARK

Mrs. George R. North to Be Buried Here On Tuesday

Mrs. George R. North, early resident of Green Bay and mother of Jerome R. North, local Attorney, died Sunday Morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James T. Armstrong, Oak Park, Ill. She was past eighty years old and had been ailing for some time with general infirmities.

Mrs. North was born in New York state and was married there. In 1871, Mr. and Mrs. North came to Green Bay from Oswego, N. Y., and lived here continuously until Mr. North's death about ten years ago. He was prominent in musical circles in this vicinity, and Mrs. North was affiliated with several social organizations. She went to Oak Park about two years ago to make her home with her daughter. Jerome R. North left here Friday night and was with his mother when she died. Mrs. North left last night. The two children are the only immediate survivors.

Funeral services are being held at Oak Park this afternoon at 2 o'clock the Rev. Harold Holt, rector of Grace Episcopal church of that suburb, officiating, The body will be brought to Green Bay tonight, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong and Mr. and Mrs. North. It will be taken to the Schauer and Schumacher funeral home from where the funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock to Woodlawn cemetery. The Rev. Leonard A. Parr of the Congregational church will conduct rites at the grave.

Pallbearers will be Barton L. Parker, M. E. Davis, Walter Bie, Dr. O. A. Olmsted, Walter Hagen, and W. L. Evans.
