Ruth Geneva Creasy, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Custer on Saturday, August 26, 2006. She was 80 years old. Ruth was born on November 3, 1925 in Leon, IA to Charles and Clara Biddison.
Ruth was a extremely caring person, who loved caring for the young and old. She was very passionate about her church, and her faith, and was a member of the choir for several years. Ruth loved to cook, and welcomed everyone into her home to share a home cooked meal. Ruth was a life-time member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary, Custer 9474 Post.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; one sister; and two sons, Garry and Clayt. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ralph Creasy; sons: Chuck, Carl Sr., Bill (Pam), Jerimi (Marietta), and Carl Jr. (Jim); and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at Custer United Methodist Church, 2996 Main St., Custer.
