After a brief illness since last Thursday evening, Arnold E Anderson passed away Tuesday evening at 10:45 from lobar pneumonia, at the home of his father-in-law, David Herrington, two miles west of Wakarusa, where Mr and Mrs Anderson and their daughter, Joy, have made their home since February 28th, 1932, when they came to Wakarusa from Minneapolis, Minn.

Mr Anderson was born in Minneapolis, Nov 5th, 1893, the son of Lewis and Hannah Anderson. He was married to Zuleka Herrington May 6, 1922 and to this union was born a daughter, Joy, now eight years of age.

Mr Anderson was a member of the Wakarusa American Legion post. He served over seas during the World war with the 3rd Pioneer Infantry of Minneapolis, Minn, and two sisters, Mrs Jennie Glau and Mrs Harriet Johnson of Canada.

The funeral will be held at the Herrington home at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev John Hartman in charge. The body will be taken to Minneapolis for burial.
