Funeral services are slated for this morning (Thursday) at 9 a.m. for Ruth Gertrude Gabrielson, 63, who died in the local hospital Monday following a short illness.
Mrs. Gabrielson, a native of New Rockford, North Dakota, had made her home in Corcoran for the past 37 years. She was an active member of the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church here. Her husband, Nick Gabrielson, worked as service manager at Corcoran Implement for several years before retirement.
Other survivors include one son, John, of Corcoran; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Fuller of Corcoran and Mrs. Mary Osteen of Sacramento; six grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Kruser of Topeka, Kansas.
The Rosary was recited Wednesday night at 8 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes, with the Mass of the Resurrection set for 9 a.m. this morning at the same location. Interment will follow at the Corcoran District Cemetery.
