Ephram B. Wilson, a prosperous farmer and a pioneer of Wayne county, residing one and one-half miles northwest of Rose died Monday night, aged 80 years. Mr. Wilson went to Rose when the country was new and cleared ninety-five acres of land. He reared a family of four sons and six daughters. One son, Theron, resides at home. Mr. Wilson's wife died last August.

Ephraim B. Wilson, Sr., died Monday night of heart failure at his residence north of Rose village, aged 80 years and four months. Seven children survive, Augusta Allen of Rose, Mrs. Carrie Colburn of Wolcott, Mrs. Martha Post of Butler, Mrs. Emily Walker of Clinton, Mass., Harlow P., Lavern and Theron of Rose. Mr. Wilson was one of the pioneer settlers of Rose, and was highly respected by all who knew him. The funeral was held from the house, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
