Bob was a native Arizonan and graduated from North High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Jessie Eaves in August of 1950. She passed away in 2007 after they had been married 56 years. In January 2009 Bob married LaPreal DeHeer.
Bob graduated from U of A as a pharmacist. He retired in 2009 after being with Walgreens for 30 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. He had a special love for scouts and served in scouting for 50 years. He had earned the Silver Beaver award for his outstanding service.
Bob is survived by his wife, La Preal, sister Betty Kerr and children, Judy (Bryant) Scott, Debra (Mike) McGuire, Robert (Brenda) Johns Jr., Janet (Mark) Sessions and stepchildren Milo (Nina) Webb, LaReda (Harold) Porter and Gayle Webb as well as 29 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Bob was preceeded in death by his parents, first wife Jessie, brother Richard B. Johns, son Barney Johns, grandson Michael Scott and stepson Lyle Webb.
