Funeral services for Willie Wayne Sanders, 87, of Barnwell, SC will be held two p.m., Friday, November 25, 2011 in the Folk Funeral Home, Chapel, Williston, SC. Burial will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens in Aiken. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Willie passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011.

Born in Barnwell County, he was a son of the late Archie and Mattie Still Sanders and was married to the late Juanita Sanders. He was of the Baptist faith and retired from Daniels Construction. Willie was a WWII Army Veteran having served in the South Pacific.

Survivors include a niece, Brenda (Cleveland) Morris; nephews, Ronnie (Juliette) Bolen, Norman M. Bolen, Bates (Penny) Bolen, D. H. (Dot) Bolen; and a number of great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his three sons, sisters, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sanders Bolen, Maggie Seay, Ida Williams, Lillie Carey; a niece, Essie Hair; nephews, Edward Bolen, Mack Bolen, Henry Bolen and Jimmie Bolen.
