Funeral services for Gladys L. Husung Gardner, 85, of Killeen, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with Rev. Jack Husung officiating. Burial will follow in Killeen Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Gardner died Aug. 5, 2011, at her home in Killeen. She was born Jan. 13, 1926, in Killeen to William Fred and Elizabeth (Doersam) Husung.

Mrs. Gardner was a member of the First Baptist Church and was very active with the church Benevolence Fund.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Gardner, on Nov. 3, 2005.

Survivors include two sons, Don Gardner and his wife, Michelle, of Moody, and John Gardner of Killeen; a daughter, Judy Spray of Killeen; three grandsons, John Ross, Justin and Austin Gardner; three granddaughters, Jenna Joy Gardner, Chanae Nicole Spray and Whitney Gardner; and five great-grandchildren.
