DIED DAY AFTER HER SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY.
W. D. Chitwood was called to Vernon Monday by the death of a niece, Miss Birdie Chitwood, daughter of J. W. Chitwood. Death was caused by typhoid fever. The young lady was 16 years old the day before her death. Funeral services were held Tuesday and burial made at Vernon.Mr. Chitwood returned home on Wednesday morning, accompanied by Mr. Wigham, of Mangum, an aunt of the decedent, who was en route to her home.
