Mr. Sessions passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011. He was a native of Milledgeville and the son of the late James Ross and Mattie Lucile Harrell Sessions. He was a Veterans Advocate and organized and started the "Friday Night Supper Club". He worked for Randy Helton Housing Center and organized a college Christian ministry for several years. Mr. Sessions was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Pathfinders Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife- Grace Roberson Sessions; Daughter- Paula (Benji) Cartwright, Son- James (Nikki) Sessions, Sister- Kathy Ivester Hockenbury, Sister-in-laws- Linda Sessions, and Carol Ivester Robinson, Grandsons- William Bly Sessions, and Nathan McDade, numerous precious Grandogs and a number of nieces.
