I have not been able to locate Sarah's grave (she was my great-great-great grandmother)
Sarah Ellen McPherson first married James E Oswalt in Butler, Alabama in 1869
Sarah changed her name to Pettigrew after leaving husband James Oswalt. Pettigrew was her grandmother's name. I believe she died about 1927 in Ardmore, Oklahoma
