She was loved and respected by all who knew her for her beautiful christian character. She was the mother of four children all of whom are living but one, Mrs. James Bayne. Her son Willard and her daughter Mrs. Hiram Hill live near Shell City, her other son William lives in Iowa.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. Nicholson in the Baptist church from the text found in Timothy 4:6,7,8.
The remains were laid to rest in Hubbard's beautiful cemetery. Her life was a benediction to all who came in contact with her.

Only this Family plot marker has been found.If there is a marker with her name on it it is completly covered by the lilac bush. The tree was trimmed some just to take this photo.
