Mr. James Henry Anderson Jr., 59, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 1997, at Screven County Hospital.

Mr. Anderson, a native of Screven County, was an overhauler at B.A.S.F. Fibers Co. and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Bertie Barrs Anderson; two sons, Tony Anderson, Sylvania, and James H. Anderson III, Swainsboro; one daughter, Debbie A. Thompson, Sylvania; two sisters, Floy A. Dickey and Eula A. Mock, both of Sylvania; and five grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home with the Rev. Roan Powell officiating. Burial will be in Doubleheads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Lovett, Randy Dickey, David Dickey Jr., Steve Perkins Jr., Keith Barrs and Duane Owens.
