WILLIAM E CALL
SHELBURNE FALLS - William E Call 84, of Creamery Ave, died Saturday in Franklin County Hospital. He was born in Colrain Oct. 12 1882 the son of Oscar and Evie (Norton) Call and had been a resident of Shelburne Falls for 12 years, formerly living in Shattuckville. His wife, the former Eva Lusty died in 1944. He was for some time a conductor on the old Colrain trolley line and was later employed for several years at the Griswold Manufactuing Co. and later by its successor the Kendall Mills. He retired in 1952. He was a member of the Kendall Old Timers Club. He attended the Colrain Methodist Church. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Graves of Greenfield and Mrs Marguerite Allen of Shelburne Falls, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and several neieces and nephews. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 at the Johnson funeral home with Reve Gerald Matthews of the William Butler Memorial Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the West Branch Cemetery in Colrain. Calling house are tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
