Thomas Samuel (Tom) Hunter, 82, of Clinton died Saturday, June 18, 1977 at Conway County Memorial Hospital at Morrilton. He was a retired millworker. Born May 19, 1895 in Ellsinore, MO, Mr. Hunter was a son of Clinton and Harriett Hunter. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Tubbs Hunter, a son-Clinton Monroe Hunter of Clinton, Three daughters, Mrs. Cora Barnett of Clinton, Mrs. Angie White of Conway and Mrs. Dortah Rector of Scotland (Van Buren county), 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral was at North Arkansas Funeral Home with Rev. W. J. Smith officiating and burial at Huie Cemetery.
