Myrtle Stallings, 88, o longtime resident of Corpus Christi, passed away July 29, 1989.
She was a member of the VFW Post #2397 and the OES Corpus Christi Chapter 3354. She was also a member of the Central Christian Church on Weber Road.
Survivors include two son, Bruce Thomas of Aransas Pass, Texas and Ray Thomas of Gladewater, Texas; two daughters, Louise McGehee of Houston, Texas and Lois Daniel of Corpus Christi; three sisters, Pearl Peters of Victoria, Texas, Bertha Bunk of Corpus Christi, and Edna Muller of Dickinson, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Downtown Chapel with Buck Griffith officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Glendale Cemetery in Goliad.
