THOMPSON, Conn. Benny D. Dicker, 69, Thompson, Conn. died Oct. 13, 1983 in Old Town, Me. while visiting a sister. He was the husband of Pearl (Archer) Dicker who died in 1980. He was born July 15, 1914, in Springfield, Me. son of the late Jesse and Erie (Smith)Dicker. He had be a Thompson, Conn, resident for the past two years. He had previously lived in Pomfret, Conn., for 22 years. Mr. Dicker was a truck driver for the State of Conn. Highway Dept., retiring 11 yrs. ago. He was a member of the Pomfret Cong. Church, a member of Putnam Lodge #46 AF&AM, and a member and past patron of Betty Putnam Chapter No. 106 Order of Eastern Star. He is survived by a son, Clinton Dicker of Webster, Mass, a daughter, Jeanette Worthington of Abbington, Conn. six brothers, Earl, Alton and Edward Dicker all of Lincoln, Ralph Dicker of Mattawamkeag, Percy Dicker of Mapleton, and Henry Dicker of Burbank, N.Y., five sisters Daisy McLaughlin of Bangor, Arlene Hebb of Clearwater, Fl. Rena Merrell of Old Town, Marion Crooker of Prentiss, Bessie Melanson of St. Albans, three grandchildren and many neices and nephews. Burial will be at Abington Cemetery.
