Per her Death Certificate, Lillie died from pulmonary hemorrhage. It also stated that she had bronchiectasis for many years and also hypertensive cardiovascular disease. Urey David Cook was the informant on her Death Certificate.

Lillie married David F. Cook on January 3, 1920 in Christian County, Kentucky.

KENTUCKY NEW ERA (Hopkinsville, Kentucky), January 26, 1957:

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Cook, 68-year-old resident of the Princeton Road, will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Fuqua Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cook, a native of Christian County, died at 5:05 p.m. yesterday at her home. She had been in ill health for several years.

Officiating at tomorrow's services will be the Rev. L. L. Spurlin, Baptist minister. Burial will be in the Poole Cemetery, off the Princeton Road.

Her husband, David Floyd Cook, died in 1941.

Mrs. Cook is survived by three sons, Eurie Cook, Princeton Road; Roy Gardner Cook, of the city, and Lee Boitnott Cook, Crofton Route 2.

Another son, Allen Cook, died in 1940.
