Graveside services for Gertrude Deal Searcy, Murphysboro, Ill., are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Canfield Cemetery with Rev. H. Dayne Freeman officiating.
Sercy died March 17, 1982 in Murphysboro at the age of 82. She was born Aug. 14, 1899 in Goodwater. She had lived most of her life in Idabel and was formally a member of the Idabel First Baptist Church. She had moved to Illinois 1 1/2 years ago and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carbondale, Ill.
She is survived by three sons, Allen Satterfield of Murphysboro, Ill., Robert Satterfield of Fort Worth, Texas and Claude Satterfield of Hot Springs, Ark.; one brother, William Willis of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Avie Bonner of Grass Valley, Calif.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements and burial in the Canfield Cemetery are under the direction of Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home.
