HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 AM at the Central Christian Church for Robert C. "Otto" Kruger, 83, who died Saturday afternoon at Hospice House. He was born May 4, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of Paul and Elizabeth Jones Kruger and moved to Hubbard in 1959.
Mr. Kruger worked for US. Can in Hubbard, formerly Sherwin Williams for 25 years, before retiring in 1988. He was a member of Central Christian Church. Otto enjoyed fishing, playing cards, camping and golfing, having golfed on the US Can Golf League.
He leaves his wife, the former Dorothy A. Sobnosky, whom he married June 20, 1953; a sister-in-law, Audrey Dagan of Girard; 37 nieces and nephews, 55 great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Paul Kruger and a sister, Helen Reese.
Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
