He was a farmer by trade but was an employee with the Pierce Shoe Factory until is health started failing some months ago.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at the Bristol Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Rance Richardson following burial into Lightey Cemetery.
