Louise was a daughter of the late Henry Marvin and Gladys Higginbotham Elliott, Sr. She was a former employee of Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant and a member of the Methodist faith. Surviving are one daughter and her husband, Linda Smart and John of Waterloo, one brother, Henry Marvin Elliott, Jr. of Florida; one sister, Ruby Lewis of Joanna.
