Charles is the son of Homer I. Shreve and Cora Alice (Self) Shreve. He married Madeline Maywood Michael. Children; Joel, Mary, David, and Lyal. Charles was a farmer and for the past eight years he and his wife, Maywood owned and operated Lake View Restaurant, Mt. Storm. He was a member of the Keyser VFW Post 3518 and of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Keyser and a World War II Army veteran. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Schaeffer funeral Home chapel with Elder J. Stephen Kimble and Elder John Pattison officiating.
