Florence Loretta Keenan Obituary

Miss Florence Keenan, the 20-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Keenan died about noon today at the family residence on Avenue C after an illness of a few weeks. She has been a sufferer for some time. Her condition was not considered serious outside of the family circle and her death came as a shock to her many friends.
Miss Keenan was a devout member of St. Anthony's church and took and active part in church work. She sang in the choir and was ever ready to do her part to further the work. She died peacefully with the name of the Savior on her lips. Her father was summoned from Gadsden and arrived just a few moments before his daughter passed away. The funeral will be held at St. Anthony's church at 10 o'clock Monday morning. The following [???] men will act as pallbearers: Fred Lange, George McNamara, Walter McLane, Dennis O'Brien, Albert Jones, and Ed Day.
