FORT WORTH - Wilborn Flynn Junge, a cowboy and welder, died Friday from cancer at his Fort Worth home. He was 56.

Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Funeral Home on Crowley Road. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Junge was born in Fort Worth and was a lifelong resident of the Fort Worth area.

He had grown up on a farm near Cleburne and had attended Cleburne schools. He was a welder by trade and had worked for General Portland Cement Co. for more than 14 years before the plant closed.

He loved animals, the earth and old cars, and he had recently purchased a 1977 Chrysler in remembrance of a car he had owned when he was younger.

Mr. Junge and his wife had been host to many foreign students from around the world, and they loved them as their own. He was a member of Christ Church.

Survivors: Wife, Sharon Junge of Fort Worth ; daughter, Julie Junge of Keene; three sons, Mark Junge of Burleson, Ronnie Junge of Keene and Bryan Junge of Joshua; two stepdaughters, Shelleny Dennis of Terrell and Sendy Flowers of Lewisville; stepson, Tim Huckaby of Arlington; and 10 grandchildren.
