Calvin Sawyer McDonald was the 1st and the 1st child son of Allen McDonald and Rhoda Botts. He married Lillie Stella Green McDonald on Mar 19, 1905 in Coleman, TX, Coleman Co. They had 2 sons and 1 daughter children.
Lillie Stella was a sister to my grandfather, William Hosea Green.

EX-STREETCAR MOTORMAN DIES
Calvin S. McDonald, 65, former Abilene street superintendent and one of the early-day streetcar motormen of the city, died at St. Ann's Hospital at 10:45 PM Thursday after suffering a heart attack at 7:10 PM.
Mr. McDonald had lived in Abilene since 1914, when he moved here from Coleman.
Funeral will be held at Laughter-North Memorial Chapel at 2 PM Saturday, with E. R. Harper officiating. Burial will be in a local cementery.
Mr. McDonald was born in Scott Co, TN, Feb 12, 1883 and came with his parents to TX in 1890. His parents died while he was a child. He moved to Coleman in 1895.
He was married in 1905 to Lillie Stella Owen. (that is wrong, should read Green).
After working for R. C. Lewis Construction Co., Mr. McDonald ran a streetcar here for several years, becoming city street superintendent in 1920. In 1933 he became a star mail route carrier , and in 1936 went to work for the Abilene postoffice.
Survivors include the wife; a daughter, Mrs. J. N. S. Kirkpatrick of Wylie; two sons, W. A. and W. B. McDonald, both of Abilene; a sister, Mrs. Emma Bolles of Salem, OR; a brother, E. B. McDonald of Haskell, eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include P. H. Patton, Tom Massey, D. M. Cranfill, William Collier, Jr., Luther Webb, Carl Ainey, Jim Rowntree and Albert Haile.
