Jean Hamblock Dies Monday

Tampico: - Jean T. Hamblock, 73, died Monday evening.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church, Tampico with the Rev. Eugene Parker officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico. Friends may call at Schmitt Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.

Jean Hamblock was born Dec. 17, 1902 in Tampico Township, the son of Joseph and Helen Curran Hamblock. He received his education in Hahnaman schools and lived in the Tampico vicinity all of his life, farming in the Deer Grove area. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Tampico.


He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Oliver (Mary) Johnson of Sterling; one brother, Joseph of Tampico. He was preceded by his parents; one brother, Neil; and one sister, Helen Schauff.
