--Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Heck, 69, formerly of 1082 S. Calumet St., died Wednesday in Americana Health Care Center, following an extended illness.
--Born Jan. 17, 1905, in Stockwell, she was the daughter of Roscoe and Ethel (Lowery) Baer. She was married in 1926 to Cubert R. Heck, who preceded her in death in 1970.
--She retired in 1967 from S.S. Kresge Company, after 20 years of employment.
--Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lou Ella Walls and Mrs. Martha Kelly, both of Kokomo.
--Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ellers Mortuary. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.
