Mrs. Anna E. Stinson Squires, 85, of Rt. 2, died at 9:30 Wednesday evening in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient five weeks. Born in Greenleaf, Ks., she lived in Stockwell most her early life. She moved to Lafayette in 1943 and was a resident of 107 Asher Street for many years. She was married to Elmer M. Squires in 1906. He died in 1943. She was employed at the pastry shop in the Purdue Union Building for four years and at Graves Bakery for two years. She was retired. She was a member of the Stockwell Methodist church. Burial at Stockwell.
