Carroll County General Hospital. Born in Carroll County, she was
the daughter of the late Oliver and Annie Thompson Fair. She was the
wife of the late Carroll Leroy Abbott. She was a member of Emory
United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters,
Ellen E. Abbott of Westminster and Virginia A. Mann of Linwood; one
sister, Myrle Drechsler of New Windsor; four brothers, Clarence
Fair of Westminster, Marion Fair of Woodensburg, Charles Fair of
Owings Mills and Elmer Fair of Hampstead; four grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11
a.m., Wednesday at the Eline Funeral Home, Hampstead, with the
Rev. Kenneth McDonald officiating.
Burial will be in Emory Cemetery, Upperco.
Friends may call from from 3-5
