Wells Andrews married Laura Brockway, the daughter of Titus and Nancy B. Wilson Brockway, on June 30, 1840 in Lee County, Iowa. The marriage of Wells and Laura were blessed with five children; Asa Edwin, Nelson B., Albert Drayton, Almira Fidelia, and Laura Emmeline. Laura died May 5, 1854 in New London. After her death, Wells married Helen H. Holcomb Beach, June 21, 1860. No children were born to the second marriage.
