The funeral of M. G. Huntington Saturday was largely attended by representative people of this section, showing the marked esteem in which Mr. Huntington was held.
The floral offerings at the funeral of M. G. Huntington Saturday were the most beautiful ever seen in this section.

Morgan Gurdon Huntington born January 30 1840 in Oneida Mills, Ohio; married May 22 1872 in Canton Ohio Amelia Dorothy daughter of John Charles and Roseanna Keller Bockius. She was born March 10 1840. He was a banker and moved from Canton O to Hays Kan in 1877 to Georgetown Col in 1880 to Hays Kan in 1885 and to Del Norte Col 1896 and died in Del Norte May 17, 18 I9 He served during the Civil War as Captain of Co B 162d Regiment Ohio National Guard Infantry enlisted May 1864. They were Episcopalians Mrs Huntington was living in Freeport Ill in 1909. One child - John Gurdon born March 1, 1873.
