MARION - J. G. Lunsford, coroner of Marion County, died at 1 o'clock today at his home after a short illness. He was 65 years old today.
He is survived by his wife and the following children, Miss Susie Blanche Lunsford of Marion, Mrs. Ted Newell of Washington, D.C., Mrs. John Botkin of Pasadena, Md., Mrs. Clarence Cornwell of Manassas, Va., Miss Eva Lunsford of Manassas, Va., and Herman G. Lunsford of Washington; one sister, Mrs. W. L. Florence of Purceville, Va.
Services will be held at the home at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon conducted by the Rev. Mr. Knight, interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
