LYONS - Ruth Margaret Hollinger, 73, died March 6, 1984, at Lyons District Hospital, after a short illness. Born Ruth Margaret Blevins July 30, 1910, at Lyons, she married Delbert Hollinger Nov. 16, 1931, at Lyons. She was a retired secretary for Sledd Wholesale Company and co-owner of Hollinger Antiques and had been a lifetime Lyons resident.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Athenian Club, Rice County Historical Society, Music Club, Chaldean Club and CWF, all of Lyons.
Survivors: husband, of the home; son, Jim, Lyons; daughter, Sara Carlson, Emporia; sister, Evelyn Poland, Hutchinson; four grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church; the Rev. Ralph Tillery. Burial at Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons. Memorials to the Rice County Historical Society or to the church.
