Dr. D.H. Laster[sic], 88, watchmaker and optometrist in Breckenridge since 1920 died in a local hospital after a short illness.

Retired for several years, Dr. Laster had made his home at the Sager Hotel.

Services are to be Sunday at the First Methodist Church with Rev. W.E. Shipp to officiate.

Dr. Lastre came to San Marcos in 1899. He moved to Breckenridge in 1920.

Survived by three grandchildren - Madge Kestler of Statesville, SC; Capt. David H. Culver and Capt. Frank B. Culver, both of the US Air Force; son-in-law - Bill Morse of Breckenridge.

Pallbearers: D.T. Bowles, Dr. D.M. Boles, J.H. Harrell, A.C. Andrews, Raymond Stewart, Rube Blain, N.J. Nanney.
