Anna married William Dennis on 1 February 1882 in Putnam County. She was the daughter of William and Amanda Myers Robbins and named for her grandmother, Phebe Robbins. Anna and William had eight children with seven surviving: Alta, Bessie, Nora, Harvey, Mamie, Clifford, and Mertie. Albert died when a little more than a year old. Anna had an eighth grade education.
